second posting

 Now that BRAVE DEEDS has been nominated for the Silver Birch Award I am getting more calls for information.  I will be autographing books at Otter Books in Nelson on Friday, November 28 from 7 to 8 p.m..  Come and meet me and Shira (the wonder dog) at the store and watch me do a Dutch klompen (wooden shoe) dance.  I'll also have Dutch keepsakes from the war days and "drop" (Dutch licorice) for you to taste.  If you're in the area, do stop in.

I will be off to Victoria for the week of  Nov. 30 to Dec. 5.

After that it's back to writing, writing, writing.  There's no snow down here yet, so the cross-country skis can't distract me.
